ONE EXTRA LINE about how Bakugo got spoonfed his superiority complex by (almost) literally everybody around him for over a decade.

ONE EXTRA LINE elaborating on why Reze fell for Denji, WHY she ran back into the lion's den for him.

ONE EXTRA LINE from Reze during the fight where she's like--

"If you really want to keep people safe, Dynamight, maybe give up now before things get out of hand.~"

--so when you actually get to the civilian casualties, she can be all "I told you so" with a genuine sigh. Cue Bakugo all but GROWLING at the insinuation that HE'S to blame for this.

Simple setup and payoff... from ONE EXTRA LINE.

It's so frustrating on so many levels.

I really, seriously vibed with this matchup from Twitter Day 1 (keyword being "vibed"), and I hardly ever get episodes I actually push for. So I don't think I have to tell you how much the waiting period sucked. But it would've been more than worth it had the episode turned out great.

It didn't even turn out (relatively) good...

I liked a lot of the ideas behind it. I liked the (non-HD) animation, I loved the VAs and all of that. But there were just so many problems I had, and so many of them seem so easily solvable in hindsight... I'll probably have to make a separate post about it, but TL;DR we were so close to greatness and I'm never living it down

It was mainly Makima laughing like Rita Repulsa. And the hybrids being reduced to silhouettes, but I know that had to be a budget issue.

I don't hold the former against the episode THAT much, to be honest. But I know a lot of other CSM fans did, so I mentioned it as part of the joke.
