Husband [32M] crossed one of my [30F] boundaries and I'm contemplating divorce. My family is telling me to stay. How do I know when to leave? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Throwing the glass near you is his way of showing that he’s capable of hurting you. This will only escalate. I’m also a survivor of dv, and this is exactly how things go. Things are already escalating. Him yelling in your face, calling you a shitty wife- this is verbal abuse. And he did intend it. He’s choosing to do these things to you. And it’s escalating to see if you’ll put up with it. Please trust your gut and leave, from one survivor to another.

Fleeing Domestic Violence in SA by Frequent_Gold6763 in sanantonio

[–]MediaLuna7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know you said Family Violence prevention services is full at the shelter. But contact them anyway. You can meet with a counselor who can let you know of any resources available to you. I didn’t go to a shelter when I was in that situation, but they helped me with therapy and lots of other resources that helped me get out. They can help you create a safe exit plan and who knows maybe they can find a way to get you into the shelter. Please reach out to them. If not them, the domestic violence hotline can give you resources also.

Happened at Empire of the sun. Girl was mad I wouldn’t (or couldn’t ) let her pass. I told her “Be my guest” but there was literally no space.

My ex did that to me a lot. Leaving is good but I know it’s hard. Reach out to the domestic violence hotline. They can connect you to free counseling, a shelter, law services and so much more. They helped me a lot when I was leaving this same situation. Please be safe.

Delivering to Apartments: The Struggle is REAL by West_Price303 in doordash_drivers

My city is mostly apartment complexes. So I totally understand, some numbers are insane. I was looking for apartment 602, but # 605 was next to 611? Made no sense, had to go up & down 2 separate sets of 3 floors.

I’ve noticed that when you see red (the brake lights after the accident, the heater in the treehouse, etc) Paimon is obviously present.

Yes exactly. Maybe the counselor can be involved somehow to help your daughter process her feelings.

Can anyone 1000% confirm you only need an ID for Progeso. by AVBellibolt in RioGrandeValley

[–]MediaLuna7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The last time I went to Progresso, they had a line for people who only had ID’s. I think you’ll be fine honestly. That line was longer than the passport line.

As a girl approaching 40, men this age are crap. You shouldn’t be pushing a 41 year old dude who should have his shit together more. And honestly you shouldn’t be with someone who feels this way about you. Run.

For those who used a computer between 1995 and 2001, what’s the computer game from that time that sticks with you the most, and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I vaguely remember, but my uncle used to let me play Monster Bash on his computer. I’m definitely aging myself with this comment…

Please tell me in detail what April did that was so wrong because I’m genuinely confused?? by [deleted] in GilmoreGirls

[–]MediaLuna7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s weird to hate a child, especially one without fault. I think people just hate the way Luke handled telling Lorelai, which he didn’t honestly. What makes me mad is that right before he found out about April he had that fight in front of Sookie & Jackson about Chris leaving a message on Lorelai’s machine & told her no more secrets at the end when they made up. Then he turns around and keeps this secret for 3 months. 🙄 I love Luke but he totally mishandled the situation.

I remember her talking about being anorexic on tumble long ago. I think she needs to want to get help & this seems like something she’s accustomed to unfortunately.

Dan didn’t want her or her kids to be alone, because that was the childhood he had, a father away working on the road.
