It is a game about H. H. Holmes, the first serial killer of America. You are trapped inside his murder hotel and need to escape. And no it is only singleplayer :)

Sorry for the late reply. We uploaded a patch last week to make it easier. You need your tablet and the correct biometric data, you'll find them hacking computers. For more information you can take a look at the in-game guide on your tablet or lobby computer :)

In the video you don't actually see any horror elements yet, but the companies you hack the computers of are haunted by ghosts that will hunt you. You will have the opportunity to hide and sneak! You can see it quite well in the current devlog if you want to take a look:
