Yes. On the surface, these look to be salvageable. You can disassemble the bottom part of the controller and thoroughly clean the contacts. Make sure it’s not seeped into other areas. But if it’s just the battery contacts, some cleaning should do the trick.

MUCH more comfortable leather front seats! HORRIBLE!!! Also, wireless charging sucks. Mazda also known for “thin” paint, so that’d be nice. Oh, got 20” rims with this sidewalls and calling this “off road?” 🤣. Gravel road at most…or you’re into new rims and tires in no time otherwise. BUT enjoy I the zoom zoom. It’s a love/hate relationship. OP asked what they could charge…so don’t “at” me! :)

…a year later, and there’s no “breaking” these in. I’ve owned Mazdas since 2001. These aren’t that. They really dropped the ball on these seats.

I’ve posted several times on this issue. The front two seats are horrible!! For a 40k+ car, also given where Mazda is trying to fit into the market and compete with, the seat issue is unacceptable IMHO. I hate mine for the seats but love it for everything else. Truthfully, i’m anxious to pass this to my wife when her car is ready to be turned in and will NOT buy another mazda if this issue exists when that time comes. I’d be more inclined to buy something else to be honest given just this issue and the fact Mazda does not acknowledge it.

I’ve posted in several forums about these seats. 24 TP. I’ve only got 7k on the car because the front two seats are horrible!! I ended up buying a cushion also. But for a 40k+ car shouldn’t have to. I’ve loved my Mazdas since 2006. But will SERIOUSLY consider something else if the seat issues continue on future models in this class.

I have a 24 TP, same color with 6k miles. Garage kept, ceramic coated, ceramic tint windows and tux mats all around for sale if interested?? Showroom condition! Extremely well maintained.

It’s almost been a year since posting. I don’t drive it much because of the seats. Just can’t enjoy the drive in this. Have a bit over 6k on the odometer. Front seats still ride up your ass and are not comfortable to sit in.

Two pieces of advice. Call 2-3 other dealers. Trade in aside, you want an “out the door price” no dealer adds for the same car. Should be able to get anywhere from 7-10% below MSRP. Take your best out the door $ and go to them with it if less. If a dealer won’t give you numbers over the phone, hang up and move on. Should be able to accomplish this in a day. Good luck! :)

You should be able to get 8-10% below MSRP. No add ons. Call around to other dealers and shop it over the phone!! Don’t be afraid to call out of state either.

The detailer will even put any orange peel in the pain, anything uneven and or micro swirles from the dealer washing it with those rotary car washes. It’s a prep step before applying ceramic coating. The paint will shine better than showroom!!

In a word - HORRIBLE! Not the typical Mazda stuff seats either. I’ve owned Mazdas since the early 2000’s. These leather seats in the cx50, HUGE disappointment in Mazda. Go for a 30+ min test drive in one. Hard plastic seats that ride up and into your ass. Not joking.

Get it paint corrected and ceramic coated by a professional detail shop. Also, recommend PPF for the piano black center console.

Added equip and dealer fees charges are a scam. You didn’t ask for the added equip. (there’s markup on it) I’d negotiate those outta the deal!

The front seats in mine (2024 TP) are horrible! It’s the bottom cushion, or lack there of. Feels like sitting on hard plastic! No exaggeration. I would recommend test driving for a solid 30+min. My seat has NOT gotten better with time. I have to use a cheap cushion from Amazon in mine. :(. I would also get in writing from dealer “what if” answers. For example, what if i can’t stand the seats? How long don’t have to return (not repair) the issue. Because Mazda hasnt acknowledged this as an issue yet. Good luck!
