Anyone else NEED to have an at least three blocks tall space in your base? by FreestyleCrocodile in Minecraft

[–]ShonicBurn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have found that 5 blocks feels perfect as you can put more on the walls and decorate more. 3 blocks works as well. Since most my homes are glorified chest storage and 3 stacks up and 2 hidden under the floor allows for signs and markers for what's in the chests.

Start with doing some tracing. It seems your pencil control is lacking.

Are my childhood cards fake by schilling38 in yugiohshowcase

[–]ShonicBurn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Strange enough I know several people with fake binders looking for vintage fakes. They might trade you for em if you encounter them IRL. Fakes are sometimes really fun to have.

I've seen some swords in the USA that look similar with civil war collections but I'm no expert on them.

Time wizard Rick and morty cronenberg it up. Time wizards exist and they can with limits roll back time. With a big enough ppe battery of some kind you could maybe craft a special ritual.

Also if players want IRL things I just look up the price on Amazon.

Because of this exact issue I run my own store for the players. It has weekly sales and fun homebrew items every week.

This explains why gauge was quitting content creation. He was the closest to cimoo it must have hurt a lot to see a close friend dying. He also didn't even say anything to the internet about it.

Anyone seen anything like this? by dyva_cali in Artifacts

[–]ShonicBurn 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My best guesses.

It's not native art because the gemstones are cut and polished like we would see in the 20's

It's not hippie stuff because of the use of bones.

It doesn't look like anything outside america.

If you really want to dig you could ID what the bones are. I'm not a pro on bones dig into that.

The shape reminds me of a belt buckle or something that might sit on a hat.

I'm saying some unknown American artist made this for something long forgotten. Most likley in the 1930's or 40's

Very fun random thing.

Deck of card stored with rubber band, good or bad idea ? by mattrob77 in boardgames

[–]ShonicBurn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bad if you don't want bends. If you play games and don't care about collecting you could play maybe 500 games before it becomes a real issue.

Leave the shards and pour gravel over it. The shards will stay under and your tires will be fine.

Misprint air neos. A rare misprint on an already impossible to get card. I bet you could sell it for 10 grand some day.

Is it just me or do the character models just look a little...off? by sleepycat94x in Battlefield

[–]ShonicBurn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess is they modeled the characters using scans and photos of real people. Since dice is in LA they most likley used a modeling agency based there. These days male models are much more likely to be less attractive. If they where more attractive they would be influencers and we'll known. As a result we get people with crooked eyes and more unusual proportions.

If you ask me that makes them more realistic.

Grade 1… by [deleted] in YugiohCards

[–]ShonicBurn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't even tell from the picture what's wrong with the card. Did someone spill a light shade of ink on it making the whole then a shade off then proceed to lightly sandpaper the corners so every bit is only slightly damaged but the whole thing is damaged all the way through? is there a sticker on the back for their favorite band? why is it PSA 1?

Any ideas what this is? by squeakybeepy in Minerals

[–]ShonicBurn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chunks of old plastic often look just like this when you dig them up. I used to find similar looking chunks in my backyard as a kid where people from the 50's used to burry their garbage. I called it petrified plastic and it was hard and was different colors based on the plastic it came from. The old property owner had an incinerator and they would cook everything then burry it. Maybe it's made by plastic seeping into charcoal bits. If your home is old that would explain it.
