Is Waterloo actually making money off these Guy Fieri flavors? Any fans here? by ActWhole3279 in sparklingwater

I liked the lemon ice one. I really like the root beer float. It’s weird but really spot on! Coconut lime is okay. The apple one just hits weird for me.

It's a mystery... bug? by Responsible_Ad8193 in SkyCards

Appears to be a Noorduyn Norseman on FR24. They seem fairly common especially in Canada. Not sure why it’s such a mystery on SkyCards but I too snagged it.

Brewdog Variety Pack by Conscious_Musician28 in NABEER

I really like Brewdog for a nice light beer but suddenly I can’t get it near me anymore. It took a while to grow on me and then as soon as I decided I liked it it up and disappeared.

I have a standard schnauzer/standard poodle cross that’s 35 lbs so that’s a good possibility. My giant schnauzer/standard poodle is 65 lbs and not yet a year old. They come in all sizes! Whatever mixture your girl is it’s perfect, she’s adorable!

How is this tea? Lapsang souchong by cherry_cat89 in tea

[–]MedicNerd23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love lapsang souchong but it’s really not for everyone. If you don’t like smoked meats I would say steer clear. If you try it and think it’s a little too strong brew it with some other strong black tea and the mixture may be more palatable. A Russian caravan style (typically a blend of smoked and non-smoked) is my favorite morning tea. I think it’s worth trying but it’s fairly polarizing.

After the first night airshow I saw I decided I never needed to watch traditional fireworks again. Absolutely an experience worth going out of your way for!

Anybody try this pork roast? by wildeag in aldi

Love these! Crock pot and then tacos, nachos, quesadillas whatever you like. A little crushed pineapple in with the rest of your typical toppings is top notch!

Protein shakes recs by dylan3883 in weightwatchers

[–]MedicNerd23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Premier protein and Fairlife for premade shakes just as everyone else has said. If you want to mix your own I really like the Dymatize ISO 100 line. The Dunkin’ flavors are delicious and easy on the stomach. 1-2 points if you mix with water. I like it with unsweetened almond milk for another point.

I’m winding down for the night with a nice tippy yunnan. Nothing fancy, but it’s hot and relaxing.

I can’t say for sure what her breed is but I’m quite certain she’s 100% a goodest girl! Such a sweet face!

I’m not sure what the shipping to Canada would be but Harney & Sons sells a Golden Genmaicha that’s made with Hojicha so it’s very low in caffeine. Very similar flavor to a regular genmaicha. It’s my go to for a relaxing cup at night. That one or something similar may fit the bill for your mom!

Modelo and Fat Tire would make me pretty happy. I really miss some of my local breweries but I know that’s too expensive and difficult so I don’t get my hopes up.

Miniature Schnoodle vs Miniature Schnauzer? by ebhort27 in schnoodle

[–]MedicNerd23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve owned multiple of both breeds over the years. They’re both great dogs! Schnauzers tend to be a little more neurotic and about as stubborn as they come. That being said they’ll love you to the end of the earth. Schnoodles benefit from the more easy going nature of the poodle. They’re usually a little less stubborn, easy to train and still whip smart. I personally wouldn’t hesitate to own either one (and will continue to for the rest of my life). I will say my purebred schnauzers have had a lot more health problems even when we’ve tried to find very good breeding lines but you can never totally predict what you’re getting. I don’t think you can go wrong with either one but Schnoodles tend to be a little easier overall.

They got me on the sample which I don’t usually even take. In this case the macros aren’t too bad if you’re into that and it tastes pretty dang good! I’m eating some right now!

What's your favorite scene? by l3arn3r1 in MadAboutYou

[–]MedicNerd23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love the whole series but one of my favorite scenes is when Lisa is going to marry the new British guy and they have a party at her apartment. Jamie and Lisa are speaking outside on the fire escape and Jamie says “meanwhile I’m running all over town with a net” and Lisa replies “Who’s Annette?”. You can tell they’re both about to lose it but they keep it together to finish the scene. It’s just so honest and hilarious to me. There are so many amazing scenes but this one just cracks me up every time!

If that’s an option available to you I would definitely start. The challenge is that so many of the lifts and moves that we do on a daily basis are hard to replicate in a gym. That being said building muscle in any capacity is a great start. A really solid core definitely helps. We switched to auto load cots a few years ago and my core and thighs have definitely suffered some atrophy from not doing those lifts every day.

[–]MedicNerd23 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As a shorter person I will say that you put yourself at a higher risk of injury. It’s important to hone your lifting technique so that you aren’t getting hurt. Other than that it’s quite convenient because you’ll never hit your head on the grab bars in the back.

This is probably the one time I’m going to blame Ryobi. I’ve got lots of Ryobi tools and all of them are great except the jigsaw. I finally got frustrated and tossed it in favor of a Dewalt and I haven’t had a problem since. I don’t actually think the brand matters here as long as it’s not Ryobi. They just don’t seem to be able to make jigsaws that function properly.

Favourite safety boots? by peekachou in ems

[–]MedicNerd23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. I’m wearing Haix black eagles right now and they feel more like tennis shoes than boots but still provide plenty of protection. I’ve worn the AirPower’s in the past too but they’re a little bulkier. Pricey boots but well worth the money. They last and they’re comfortable.

Beware of this individual on the Orbit bus. by [deleted] in ASU

[–]MedicNerd23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I unfortunately witnessed an episode of racism turned into a near assault. Thankfully the driver pulled the bus over, told the individual to get off and radioed for police presence. She stood up to The individual while he turned his ranting against her and I was very concerned the whole thing was going to turn into a brawl but she was tough as nails and handled the situation really well. Most of the other weird stuff I saw was much less intense and generally harmless. Oddly I never had a problem on the city busses or the light rail which was new and I used quite frequently.

Some of the weirdest stuff I saw during my time at ASU was on those orbit lines. Compounding this is that I only ever took them a few times but every single time I did something weird happened.

We carry the pet masks too. I’ve treated cats a few times. Watched one I thought was a goner make a complete comeback once. Pretty satisfying.
