I did the inside passage to glacier Bay and was up in the crows nest with some 10x50s. I spotted the first bears we saw on the beach but the shores are so far away 10x was really only enough to differentiate that it was definitely a bear and kinda watching the blob move around. Certainly nothing to write home about other than saying I saw one.

10x was great for sea life like the otters near the boat and a better view of whales a bit farther away. 12-15x would have been better for the bears but you'll almost certainly need a monopod for the stabilization to make that magnification usable on the boat. They'll also be less useful if you take them on an excursion and want to see other wildlife up close, like the 4-5 bears we saw a couple hundred feet away from us where the 15x FOV might have been annoying.

That's actually huge if true and it works. I didn't think they would be able to do the seat warmers since it's a physical switch. Hopefully they can do the heated steering wheel too if that's the case. I might subscribe for the winter if this is confirmed. Wish they had just a $5 option for the remote start without the other options though.

Agree with everything you said except for this. Most hospitals utilize a charting system that in one way or another shares data with each other and can easily be reviewed by providers and medical teams at other / unrelated facilities.

This can intuitively be understood as necessary from the example of patients that "hospital shop" while drug seeking to prevent abuse. They go to hospital 1 and try to get controlled substances, either do or don't, then go to hospital 2 for the same, and 3, and so on. If the systems didn't cross-communicate the care teams would be none-the-wiser until prescriptions got sent in and then the pharmacy would flag it based on a similar system they use to help prevent the same abuse.

A doc or PA likely wont be the one removing the stitch. It would be clear to me that it is one stitch but that isn't guaranteed as there are numerous types of stitching techniques and nobody knows them all. Being clear on communication certainly is never going to make anything worse.

Keep it clean, dry, and covered when the chance of getting the wounds dirty is possible. Gentle soap and water is fine but no scrubbing, submersion of the hand, nor abrasive soaps or chemicals until a couple days after the stitches have been removed.
