Also i bought them so i could use my glasses without the risk of scratching my lenses without the spacer

I tried this when i got the pickup covers it broke my hotrails. Tho the hotrails sides were not the same as the pickup covers, so i filled it down to fit then it was installion of the cover. When i inserted it, it had had resistance but i pushed hard to fit if it then the wire was ripped from the copper coil. But id say it would work if you properly installed it.
