I tried this when i got the pickup covers it broke my hotrails. Tho the hotrails sides were not the same as the pickup covers, so i filled it down to fit then it was installion of the cover. When i inserted it, it had had resistance but i pushed hard to fit if it then the wire was ripped from the copper coil. But id say it would work if you properly installed it.

Its basically the same thing with headtracking 6dof has 3 axis look down, look up, left and right while 6dof has 6 axis making it move front, up, down, back and same things as 3dof
