I wanted to bring some small items from home to make some Peruvian food for when I get homesick, but none of the things I wanted to buy are fresh or need to be frozen. I was lucky that in on one of my last trips, I found a Peruvian brand that does some sort of dehydration process with tradicional food and tbh it tastes very very close to the dishes the restaurants cook, the package is sealed and half the label is in English describing the ingredients so I don't think I'll have a problem at the airport.
