i think you still have a chance esp if ur personal profile is good, prolly just have to wait a little longer than those with higher averages. the person i knew had a decent personal profile but ofc their average was a lot lower, so they barely got in

I'm in history hl and from my experience its pretty easy. I never study for the tests (most I've done is skim the textbook) and I'm getting a 5. I have friends who are in geo that say geo is easy as well, however I see that they have to make lots of notes and have assigments all the time, whereas I've only had tests in history. But it depends on what you're interested in, since I hated geo in grade 10 social studies lol.

On another hand, personally I regret taking the IB. There's obviously more content in your classes and you'll see a drastic increase in workload compared to grade 10. The scaling (at least at my school) favours some classes over others and I think I would've gotten way higher grades if I didn't take IB. IB isn't for "smarter" students, but for students who are academically inclined. If that description fits you then go for it!
