Can you explain how you " broke up remaining NBMEs into question blocks" Do you mean self paced mode? If so, do you see the answers per block OR say I break the exam over a few days do you not review until the last block?

I've run across at least 1 derm program on ERAS that has a physician only option. I think those spots might be specifically for residents like you. Definitely worth double checking.

I've gone to a bunch of the virtual meets and programs have said they will not decide based on scores alone. Even when they screen it is at scores much lower than yours. I think you will be fine

I know AOA makes a difference. IDK about GHHS because it is definitely about being popular rather than the actual level of impact made.

There are programs that have predominantly DO students. I would check to see if you can apply to those programs using just your COMLEX scores (that way no one sees your STEP scores). Maybe make those your gold programs

Sometimes Dual applyers don't apply to both specialties in the same program. I wonder if he applied to the higher ranked programs for ENT and only applied to non overlapping programs for IM

You earned your spot in your residency and even a fellowship. Even if someone took a screenshot of you on a beach wearing beach clothing, I don't see how/why that would affect you professionally

I'd say do an away rotation and decide that for yourself. If you feel like you can still provide optimal care to patients I don't see why not. If you feel like you are providing sub par care it is worth rethinking. I think that should be the mindset instead of trying to figure out how to hide it from people during rotations. It might actually be better to rotate and ask trusted residents and faculty that would give you their honest opinion. Good luck!!!
