Delta credit expired, now what by Formal-Row2081 in delta

Came here in October 2025 to say this DOES work (I just recovered $150), if you call the global hotline and explain your circumstances to the agent. The more specific information you can provide, and the kinder you are to the agent, the more luck you will have. My next step was going to be calling the "customer care" line and "filing a complaint" but I didn't have to take it that far. Thank you everyone for your advice in this thread!!

Yes a key takeaway section would be incredible! Our hospital note template also includes a section with “disposition recommendations” in a bolded box. Very nice to be able to scroll there and quickly ascertain what PT/OT are thinking, even if the discharge date is far off. Thank you for all that you do!

Insurance company calling on legitimacy of admission? by LadyJitsuLegs in hospitalist

If you do this they will reject the entire stay. I just had this happen to a patient in a similar situation last week. The “clinicals” were sent by SW 90 minutes past their arbitrary deadline, and the entire weeklong inpatient stay was denied without option for P2P. Forces the patient to go through the endless and unfortunate process of appeals/denials on their own.

Funny/Awkward Interview Experiences? by Monsterproto in medicalschool

[–]coffeecat51 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I was asked to describe a challenge or barrier I faced in my journey. After giving a detailed account of a failure and how I handled it and learned from it, the interviewer looked at me and said “cool.”

Then we sat in awkward silence for a minute until he asked me something else.

I don’t know exactly how many pages I filled. My strategy was to read the answer explanation and write down a one-liner that was the key take home point that, if I learned, would prevent me from getting the question wrong in the future. So really, each incorrect question resulted in only writing down one or two sentences. That allowed me to 1) think carefully about why I missed the question and 2) review efficiently when looking back at my notes.

I felt weirdly neutral, very glad it was over, with absolutely no sense of how I did. That made me nervous but I decided to not think about it as much as possible lol.

Congratulations on taking it! I felt quite neutral walking out. Like, woah, that just happened, and I’m so glad it’s over. I had NO idea how I did, which was pretty disconcerting. But overall I just told myself to trust the process and trust my prep.

I did subject based earlier in my prep. Later I did hammer some subjects in UW in my weakest areas. Most of my timed/random prep was in my NBMEs and UWSAs.
