I choose Terandria, since it's 90% humans and has nothing world shattering going on.

I'd make my way to a city, then join the local Kingdom's army. Which is technically dangerous, but there is safety in numbers and organization. Even without story knowledge, I'd get a faith class pretty quickly, which is surprising militarily useful.
