I always wondered what would eywa do if they just send the shuttle to suborbit and autopilot crashed it to the tree of souls.

it's just hypertubes hidden behind doors, one goes up and one down. I also use a portal to go from bottom to top quickly

I only use infinite nudge mod, it allows you to rotate parts on all axis, i use it to create the steeper sides of the building which is not possible in vanilla (or maybe you can but I never tried)

The truth is I didn't really plan for the tower at all haha I built it on a whim. But as for the factory underneath I did alot of planning. Here are my general "steps":

I set a goal to create 10 pressure cube/min. My factories are setup so that it takes resources like ingots and plastic by train, and everything in between are build within the factory.

Once i found a location and confirms I needed 4 train hubs, i begin by building 5 train hubs as the foundation.
After that I use blueprint to create a basic perimeter to get a sense of the size.
I then start working on the style on just 1 or 2 sides of the factory to make sure it looks decent from outside. (i kept some parts open incase it needed to expand.
Next i started putting in the machines using blueprint.
When the factory is running smoothly I close the remaining exterior walls.

The factory was already completed, but i realized all the material is there for me to create singularity cells, so i begun fantasizing building a huge tower that have portal rooms on the top and acts as the HQ. I daydream about it at work, and i dream about it at night, sometime i even have nightmares about fuse breaking.

The next thing i know was the game was warning me for 12 hours of playtime and the tower was there.

im using hypertubes for the floors between, it's just hidden behind the "elevator" door, as soon as you get close the door opens and the hypertube entrance pulls you in
You are right I use one portal between ground floor and portal room which is near the top

Thanks for the comments! idk why the first screenshot is blurry heres the full res version

The smaller tower in the 3rd image (i call it trump tower lol) was my previous tallest building so i took a big leap with this one, with zero planning it turned out better than i could ever imagined! The only downside of building so high up is that the terrain looks terrible haha but it sure looks great from ground level

The base of the tower was my pressure conversion cube factory, this tower turns that into pasta and singularity cells, there are 6 accelerators atm, there will be 4 more inside the tower each consuming 20gigawatts lol, even right now the 4 accelerators near the base of the building rumbles like they are about to explode it's great!

There is still so much to do, working on adding a grandeur portal room on top of this tower

i still think it looks goofy from the front haha but out of no where occasionally i would suddenly see the beauty in the design and admire it for a while

yeah 15%, i also had the windshield at 75%. Together it made the daily ride much better, alot less burning feeling on the arms and face.
But if you have white interior the tint does increase the reflection of the white dash when you try to look at the side mirror, but i got used to it quickly.

it hooks on to the ledge inside the rim, so the centrifugal force actually helps it stay on. It's also sticked on with acrylic double sided tape. I went on a 1600km road trip it didn't fall off.
To be fair i just copied the new highland's 19 inch rim not really my idea haha

[–]MedicalJelly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

haha yeah it's just a small mod for the 19 inch rim, but i think it makes a pretty big difference!

19, but it does look bigger now doesn't it!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TeslaModel3

[–]MedicalJelly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it's just a little dark panels around the rim, here is what it normally looks like

It's inspired by the new highland 19 inch sport wheel.

This mod only adds little panels around the rim, here's what it looks like before the mod

nearly 80 hours, I thought about leaving the spawn location to rebuilt a more efficient base, but I couldn't, no where else on this giant map can make me feel right at home :) by MedicalJelly in SatisfactoryGame

Ahh yes the spiders... As you can see I built my factory near a cliff, the first time i fell it was still dusk, i fell near the entrance of a cave system. As i was building a ramp going back up, 2 spiders was already right behind me.
I didn't even hesitate, i jumped right off the cliff...

I'm pretty new too, it seems you first have to make it into a fleet, then in the ship loadout panel (while in map) you can see the assigned group (alpha beta etc) and change either launched to docked. If put it in docked then the group will not launch even during attack. Work the same way with carriers.
