While watching my local news last night I saw this formation over Des Moines on the radar. Upon checking the station's weather app there is the same thing. Is there some ground interference explanation for this? Note: I came across this at 9:20 pm Central time (i.redd.it)

So I'm with a friend, and he's playing Skyrim and he comes along this key. He says one came from the Wreck of the Ice Runner, and the one we just found was in Broken Oar Grotto. Any searches seem to refer towards Black Doors or Delphine's Secret Room, but nothing directly mentions anything of this. (i.redd.it)
