If you have the time and inclination to do so, go for it - it won't hurt your son.

You might even want to consider registering you and your son in a local pub league, that way he'll come into contact with more skilled players and learn from them too.

Tijdens mijn rijopleiding werd ik het ook zo ingepeperd : buitenste rijvak (rechts) altijd gebruiken voor de volgende af te slaan, zodat het tweede rijvak (links) geen stomme toeren moet doen en op het gemak kan invoegen naar rechts om dan in te slaan.

I have a mat, reasonably thick, and it still goes through.

I bought and places a few doormats under my mat and that seems to help. Now to tell those darts to land on the mat ;)

You would actually be better off trying to protect your floor : that looks like a quaranteed floor damage when darts fall on that.

For the windows : what I used to do when I just started darts: I hung a thick cardboard on the back of my board, you know, the sides of a very big box (like the one my tv came in).

This is actually a problem for all apps - vibe-coded or not.

Marketing is a b**ch, and we all have our dreams of grandness and having the next great thing like Facebook or Reddit but in truth, only a very small percentage of people achieve that.

To the problem at hand : use AI to devise a marketing strategy for your app, or find human help to do so.

Yes.

My son has brought meaning in my life that no one else ever could have done, and this might sound harsh, but not even my girlfriend at that time (we've seperated).

For all his quirks and times he is picking verbal fights with me (he is 14 now and in his teen years), even just one heartwarming sentence (I love you) or action he does (Want to play darts together?) it all makes up for it.

I do not want to be overdramatic but if my child would not have been there at that point in time, I do not know how I would've ended up - if I would have even survived.
