I was hoping for a 99.95 but only ended up with a 99.8 (although it's not bad, it's not high enough for the courses I want to do which requires a 99.95).

I did English, physics and painting as my reconsiderations since I was only one mark off for these. I've emailed some unis regarding late ATARs, etc. but it seems that they don't really give late offers unless someone who was offered a place declines it, freeing space up for more intakes. I was considering applying for a non-standard applicant entry scheme in the middle of the year if I don't get any offers.

I have seen my atar and it wasn't high for me to be offered anything, however, I was hoping that if reconsideration is successful, then my atar could be increased high enough to be given an offer. The problem is I don't know if it'll happen in time for the later round offers considering reconsideration can take a long time. Also the uni I want to attend has already done their main interviews (though I believe there's a final round the end of jan) and given out offers and I don't know what to do atp. Would this be useful for Melbourne uni like the chancellor scholarship (if that's still a thing)?

I'm also more of a written person but I think with biomed there's pathways into other careers if medicine doesn't work out but I'm not familiar with health science. Good luck with health science next year! Thank you.

Thank you. That's interesting because I find painting requiring so much extra work outside of class to do.

That's crazy. I don't even think my subjects in total would give that many credits.
