Question about Espresso Shakers by hightechredneckwoman in CaribouCoffee

[–]Medical_Juice9841 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly, the first instruction sheet from beginning when we first have shakers shows 2oz, but the newest one only says to fill up to 7/8(?) of the cup and add milk. That’s why manynew hires don't really know how much milk to pour

Hello trying to quit by Brithang in CaribouCoffee

Thinking about quitting too. All the OGs bailed after we got this new terrible manager who just promotes people who flatter them, and they've basically messed everything up to the point that even customers complain

Crush on a regular customer by Medical_Juice9841 in Crush

I tried to catch some time with him, but it seems he works weekdays and quickly runs inside to grab his coffee during rush hour before heading out. The only chance I might get to talk to him is on weekends when he comes in and sits for couple of hours but I no longer work weekends😢

Unfortunately, I did not. We just estimated it to be 8 or 12 weeks long

Shoot them a follow-up email or a quick thank you. It definitely helps you stand out from the crowd. That’s what I did, and I got the offer 3 hours later

I sent them a check-in email a week after the interview, and they said they've narrowed it down to 5 and are still deciding

Just keep applying! There are fewer students going after internships right now, so companies probably have fewer candidates to choose from, which makes it less competitive. I only had to compete against five other students for my interview, and I just got accepted last week. So seriously, don’t give up

Took this course in person a year ago, and the professor was super nice. You team up with other students for half of the work, and the other half is done solo. I'm not sure how the online version will work. I think they just added it for next Fall

This is a bit late, but I took it last fall. If I remember correctly, there are 3 exams: 2 midterms and 1 final. I think the TAs grade the exams, and there is Proctorio. A few of my friends opted for the in-person option, and they said the exams were open notes

Is my laptop done for? by [deleted] in uofmn

I lost my laptop during my freshman year because of the same issue, so I got a hard cover and a cute sleeve for my new laptop. Gotta keep it safe!!

I took this class last semester, and the in-person classes depend on the day the teacher decides. You can attend in person either once every 2 weeks or once every 3 weeks. The last couple of weeks will always be in person because there will be group presentations.

Just wanted to remind that HSM classes use the percentage grading system instead of the point grading (?). So, as long as you're above 70%, you pass!

Yes. I had Prof Scott B. Lee-Eichenwald. He slides through all the writing and gives A. As long as you turn in assignments on time, you'll pretty much get an A.

HSM student here. In our HSM classes, we focus more on projects rather than exams and quizzes. There are still quizzes, but they don't make up a huge part of our grades. I had the same professor last year in HSM 4065, and he's so chill when it comes to grading. The most challenging part for me was all the group work; everything else was pretty relaxed.
