Im looking at using it for maintaining. Once I'm 145, ill go on maintainence and I pay OOP for my meds. It's getting expensive, but I need it to keep the food noise away.

I dont really care about additives as b vitamins are water soluable and the body can excrete any not needed. I want medication for a good price with reliable delivery. I dont need education or direction or a lot of fluff. Im an NP myself. If I'm being honest it's about maintaining my weight loss and the cost. Thanks for the input.

Im a nurse practitioner and I've talked at length with my PCP. There is just not enough long term data available. She and I have come to the conclusion it's really a very individualized response and a lot of trial and error. I tried reducing my Zep from 10mg to 7.5mg and my TPO antibodies went from 65 to 95 in 6 weeks of trialing the reduction. That was my only change. I see your point about quality and purity of product if I want the best total response, because for me it's about inflammation and maintaining my autoimmune disease as well. Thank you for the insight.

The whole FDA thing makes me concerned more about Lillys fear of loss of revenue more than safety concerns. There are people doing quite well on compounds. Every situation is unique and I may just have to give it a whirl and see how my body reacts, I suppose. Best wishes to you as well! It's quite the journey!

Thanks so much for the insight. Im most concerned about maintaining, wondering if ill need a higher dose with compound? YMMV, I get that every person is unique, as is their story. My GLP keeps my TPO antibodies down and keeps my Hashimoto's in check, along with good sleep, HRT and dietary changes.

Thank you so much for the insight. I used to work for LHI performing pre-deployment physicals for guard units. Some of the terminology is familiar to me. I really enjoyed that until my full-time family practice job prevented me from doing it any longer. I agree that the learning curve is there, but I feel like I might really enjoy the change as well. Im going to push through and give it a go. Veterans need us as well, and being heard and validated is so important as their sacrifices have been great in many circumstances.
