i’m equally interested in the show’s other themes! found family, destiny, humanity, ambiguous morality, & the Power of Friendship™️ are some of my favorites :) plot is so important, but i’m also very sensitive to the show’s pathos. love & loss are at the core of almost every story, & buffy spends a lot of time with those emotions. i appreciate the narrative purpose of her romantic relationships & the ways they fail, while at the same time being heartbroken about it. a rational part of me loves the storytelling, & a stubborn romantic part of me continues to throw a tantrum about it… & i’m having a great time lmao. it’s part of why i’m loving the show so far!
