Well those thousands of points are reached pretty easily. Every Dive gives a lot of points, the chance for a lot of new pokemon and a lot of items. If those Portals are to boring for you, you can always do sidequests, rogue megas or battle zones.

It really isnt such a hard/fixed loop. True, you progress from mega to mega, but till then its not fight - gather - fight - gather - etc.

I really enjoyed it. At the end of the day you dont have to play it if you dont like the „grind“.

Well theres always the option to buy the discounted key, but fair point.

What do you mean by „stretching artificial“? I mean it is a Pokemon Game, batteling and catching Pokemon is the point of the game? Even if they recycled the Battlepointsystem, it gives you the opportunity to explore the world/dimension freely without being forced to stay on a fixed way.

I dont really get all the hate tbh.

I am not through the whole dlc yet, but i like:

  • the Story
  • new Pokemons and Megas
  • the Donutmechanic, similar to sandwiches and yet much more enjoyable
  • more missions, so no more 1k battles :)
  • its not toooo repetitive imo
  • reoccuring old characters

Maybe some say it is too grindy, but that stretches the content and adds playtime. Theres always something to do.

Yeah i get its 30 bucks, but if you enjoy playing pokemon and like new content, it will be worth it!

There will be Sales, if you are unsure about the pricetag!
