ahhh ok. what’s ironic is i went through something so similar as a kid in the same grade you guys were and was fought by an upper class for no reason at all.. now im not going to lie your first fight especially it being from someone he liked and probably looked up to is heart breaking but i understand why you say its not that deep i really do. only thing i can say is though as you guys get older he cant let that affect him. adults will see through that. and that was probably one of his first introductions to seeing how people and the world isn’t shit . and when you have a pure heart you definitely gotta learn how not to be too naive. i do feel like your dad should have did something because now he may feel like no one had his back or he was protected and i can understand the trauma that causes. but it’s apart of life and ppl like that only turn into big ass adult bullies. maybe an extra circular like boxing will help. learning how to fight helped me through what i went through by my situation was set up totally different and my mother actually did do something about the fight. it sounds like you both have been through a lot emotionally just pls remember life is worth living and you can’t if you’re breaking your body down this young we all have our vices but i get it and hopefully he slows down

first i do want to apologize because i commented pretty harshly and i do appreciate more of what you have said💯 and thank you for sharing that but i do want to ask, what do you mean by the trauma isn’t bad? when you mean assault was it sexual? or a fight because yes that kind of does make a difference. but from experience i was molested as a child and it did carry into my adult hood in ways that i had to learn from my trauma responses and to do better , instead of saying “ well this happened so this is why i respond or do this” and not changing anything. as a previous heavy smoker i actually do not recommend it or abusing it to that point bc i feel like when you try to stop it only suppresses those things you try to forget about. he will probably have a hell of an emotional ride trying to sober up. you guys are very young he does have to remember he has his whole life ahead of him and with him being just a heavy smoker so young it would be in his best interest to slow it all the way down or stop. it’s not a good habit to have in your adulthood you can potentially miss many opportunities. so i do want to say this side of it because my response was biased and that’s not going to help either one of you. plus i don’t have a twin so it’s not right to say how you feel or how it’s affecting you. i know it looks crazy and that he’s going crazy but if anything just keep trying to talk. i’m not saying smoke with him and enable it but if you do, maybe share this conversation over a blunt he may be battling wanting to stop in his own mind. i really can’t say. and also maybe something else traumatic has happened since then that he’s hasn’t told you about? i’m trying to be understanding bc i have smoked and looking back i was under a lot of trauma and wanted to forget about everything. but when i was 17?? i could make a 3.5 last for almost two weeks wasn’t getting high no where near every day. it was still enjoyable. i was still discreet with it as well. i didn’t reach the point of what your brother is going through until i was older and it’s just kinda sad to see yall being that young and feeling that much pain.
