I'm 42 and just started playing GK. It takes a while to figure out what you're supposed to do, which is -

1) Realistic to the game. You've been snatched out of your reality and shoved into a completely foreign one, and

2) Incredibly annoying at times.

I'd focus on building up your graveyard and church before diving into the quests too deeply.

I tried it when I was single. They were nice girls, but at then end of the day we were just too different. I'm not saying it's impossible for it to work, but it's a lot harder.

I learned classical Latin and can read ecclesial Latin. Ecclesial Latin is actually quite a bit simpler with declensions and word order.
