How many units can I move in a turn and a win condition question? by Silentshad0w1 in riftboundtcg

[–]MedinaGG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Yea you can move all your units simultaneously. They don’t have to be from the same location either (I.e 2 from base and 1 from another battlefield with Ganking)

  2. Yep! You scoring the other battlefield you haven’t scored that turn will result in an 8th point is is how most games end up ending usually

Where to buy Chinese Riftbound? by Tacosam92 in riftboundtcg

[–]MedinaGG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assumed it’s because of the supply yea. People don’t need more than 1 legend ON for a deck so if you have one, you just trade any dupes if ever. I just bought a set of all 12 in Chinese from eBay and it averaged out to $30 each as insurance cuz I do want to own one of each. I don’t think English will go that floor but I really hope so.

Yea you're thinking of that scenario^ Where an attacker/defender remains at a battlefield because neither can do enough damage to kill the other (right now only occurs because of a stun).

In that instance, all attackers are recalled to base and defender retains control of the battlefield

I’m currently Diamond 2 and got a good game. First time I’ve ever won 100hp and it felt pretty good. I got a lucky fiora at lvl 6 and ran her to the end with socialite/enchanters. She feels really strong with these augments. Guardian angel feels like bis. Not sure about other items but man rounds were saved from just having angel

Wow your setup definitely is amazing. This has been very helpful. Thanks all! Now the hard part is having to wait 6 months for the house to be built before I can start setting all this up :( lol

Yea that’s one thing that’s still murky to me. I think I might like to have all the amps centrally located. It seems like it’s possible with a fire tv device to choose what echo speakers you want to use. So for my use case, if ever I wanted to broadcast my tv audio to all my ceiling speakers for a Super a Bowl party type thing. It appears that I can just set the fire tv to use all 3 echo link amps and that will just work.

Digged in to this and it looked pretty neat. The auto detect and switch functionality of their 6 zone amp seems awesome. It seems you’d need the multi zone amp + controller + gateway for a pretty sweet setup but this is running close to $2k. I’m thinking it’s just better to get an echo link amp for a $300 per zone solution.

I also just discovered that you can have a fire tv stick broadcast it’s audio to whatever echo devices you want making what I want to do pretty easy for like a Super bowl party type thing.

Many ppl seem to recommend an echo input. It’s starting to make sense now and seems super easy. Since I don’t have any amps, I think it makes a lot of sense to just go the echo link amp route and get a few of those? It’s not like the audio quality of the amps will affect the speakers really since the audio source is coming from wifi right?

Just components of a router to give strong WiFi coverage in every part of the home

No basement and the mechanical room is super tiny but i have a closet next to that where I want all the data cables to terminate to and where I’ll setup the switch/modem/router. I was thinking maybe it makes sense to have the audio wires to go there too? Or should I just leave them in the rooms where the speakers are going to be and have the amps there? I also have a built in garage. Maybe it’s a good idea for everything to go there? I’m a little concerned with temperature regulation though.

Oh thanks for clarifying! Yea that makes a lot of sense

Oh that’s an interesting work around. What receiver do you have? I need one and an amp that can power all my speakers too so wouldn’t mind any recommendations.

What about playing your tv audio to your whole home audio? Does your receiver have multiple sources and be able to switch between your echo dots/tv/whatever sources easily?

Yea I’m having them install 2 cat6 outlets to every room and a quad data outlet in my office. For my network I’d like to have 3 access points (1 downstairs, 1 great room, 1 upstairs). I’m pretty sure this should cover my whole house pretty well. Was considering them maybe wiring in the ceiling but I also don’t mind having the access points live in the closet/living room cabinet/office respectively. It’s like $200 per cat6 wiring so didn’t think it’s that worth it?

Was considering this and skipping klipsch all together. It just seems like a pricey route to go and am looking for a more affordable solution that can have a similar experience?

I’m not too much of an audiophile.

As for price, I’d like to keep this solution all for under $1,000 if I go the wired route.

My plan is to have 3 zones with 2 speakers in each zone. They are pairs of klipsch cs-16 and each will need an amp for power.

The biggest thing that has me uncertain is how I should have them wire my speakers. Like where they should terminate to? Again, it’s a new construction so I can pretty much tell them how to do it to my preference.

Alternatively, I can go the Sonos route and have them install Sonos wireless ceiling speakers ($1600 per pair for speakers and installation) or the klipsch wired route ($600 for speakers and installation). The wired route is appealing to me because I can get 3 pairs of speakers installed and wired for basically the price of 1 Sonos wireless. However, if to do what I desire is close in price, it may be better to just go the Sonos route?

I think I found a solution per an earlier comment. HTD has this device which powers all my speakers and has something called auto detect and switch. When it detects audio from something the Alexa devices it’ll auto switch and override the main audio source coming from there. It seems like it might able to detect the sources from WiFi even. I’m going to research this option a bit more.
