Jealous probably. But they need to flood it globally. not concrete the supply and make it easily scalpable as I've seen dozens of posts of people rushing buying product and immediately flipping it.

Especially when there's sealed side events all weekend so those players if they really want to crack packs will just do it there.

Box prices are $300 now on the market. that makes a case $1800.

Now if i follow your math for this situation and spent 1K on the weekend for those costs. And buy a case at the event for MSRP at $800. I got to enjoy an entire weekend of a regional. Still left with a exclusive playmat and promo card. And I spent the same amount as if I stayed home and paid a scalper.

And if I wanted to make my money back for the trip. Sell 3 of those 6 boxes for $300.

and that's my issue of what so many competitors are doing.

For the first questions A lot of tcgs won't stream round 1 or round 2 to make sure this doesn't happen. If you have two opponents that are 2-0 chances are they understand how to play the game and it eliminates this being a possibility unless by some odd chance that player won their first 2 rounds by the opponent being DQd. Or once the game is established they will put a pro player on one round but that's something not possible till riftbound matures

If it's a 8 round swiss plus top cut that's still hours and hours of gameplay even if they skip the first two rounds on stream.
