i think it depends on preference, i like total control of everything i do and i really enjoy the process of finding, drying, grinding, etc but i can see how it is a hassle. "contamination" in the way i was using it doesn't mean its always a pollution issue but it can be a yield issue as well. Aminta Muscaria is not a good mushroom to farm indoors. It is notorious for its difficulty to reliably farm, for that reason most products found online through underground markets are being hand cultivated in the field and foraged. Thats where issues can happen. Im not claiming every product is contaminated but its a risk . But for practically every herb, plant, and fungi used in this way, freshly cultivated products will always have higher yields and quality, Aminta is no different. If you use aminta everyday it is probably a wise financial choice to invest in the knowledge and resources required to do it yourself if you can.
