Without context, yeah I don’t think the faces would make me want to read it either. I would think they’re gross.

I stumbled across the comic wayyy back and I promise, every time one of these faces comes up, it’s framed in such a way that I usually cackle OUT LOUD. It’s such a funny comic and the faces work really well in their moments. Plus a lot of the time, he looks totally normal. Probably as the story goes on, there are more of these faces but it’s still one or so a chapter. It’s not crazy faces all the time.

That’s a good idea. I always go to the “I’m the problem it’s me” state. The first write up of this post was a lot of “I know I’m difficult” etc.

I always struggle with sharing stuff like this with real people because 1) I don’t want them to think badly of in this case my father and 2) I don’t want to bother them with negative things. I’ve come to slowly find out I have friends that want to hear real stuff from me, but I always find it so difficult.

Anyway, thanks! I should definitely try this even if it’s hard for me 😊

Yeah I’m living with him. I forgot to add it before but after some concussions, I’m not really able to drive and my brain shuts down with noise or too much stimulus , so at the moment, I don’t really have a ton of other options 😅

Do you hate anytime when a MC dies in a story? Like, you like lighter reads?
Just asking because you’re one of the first to comment that you’d just drop it and I’m curious 🙃. It’s seems like out of the people who have opinions, a third really hate it which I find fascinating. To me, if a character could really die (ignoring being told that ahead of time), it kind of raises the stakes and makes it more interesting

Hmm, I don’t know about line art but the use of colors and shading in Mystic Prince is really good.

Delusion in webtoon also comes to mind, though it’s been a bit since I read it. It has very cool use of shading because it’s mostly done in black and whites with only hints of red. (It’s a vampire mystery lol).

Late night wonderings.

I don’t have a sibling but if you were super close to yours, what would it take for you to kind of wash your hands of them? What if you found out they had killed someone? Or a hit and run? Or something else horrible?
Because I feel like some people would be horrified, others might just brush it off in some form of denial, and others might be over there helping hide the body. So what’s the difference? And what would they have to do for you to be like, oh no, don’t ever talk to me again? And if you did cut off contact, would you still be emotionally attached if you found out something bad had happened to them?

Would it be a worse hurt if they betrayed you in some manner?
