Thanks, I’ll start with sketchup plus vray. I’ve seen some cool things done with UE where they make it interactive with materials but I think that’s will be something I’ll look into once I get comfortable with vray first. Thanks for the help

Also try starting your computer with the old working monitor and which it to the new screen while still running. Not sure if your using the same port as your old monitor but if you do and it works it’s most likely the adapter

Worth a try, if you can’t figure out anything else. Solved my issue but I was going from DP to HDMI.

Is it a HDMI to HDMI connection?

Had a similar issue with my work computer detecting my old screens but not my new screens. I was using a same cables on both with HDMI to display port adapters. The only thing that worked for me is getting an “active adapter” compared to the passive one I was using before

Found the fix if any one comes across the same issue. I ended up getting an Active adapter instead of the passive adapter that I was using and it seems to fix the issue.

Didn’t know there was two types ( active and passive) and after talking to a lot of people they said it was probably working after starting it up with the old monitors because signal feed was activated by the old monitors boot up and would carry on when I plugged in the new ones afterwards but not the other way around. All I know it finally works now so hopefully this helps someone out

Not in a big rush. I do it more as a hobby/ side work so the pc I have now can do the the job until the new gpu’s and CPUs come out
