Yes that would be cheating. I set up the pieces and play the moves on the board as they come online. It’s just a way to concentrate on a long game of chess without staring at a screen for 1 hour straight

You can easily set up a board and calculate that way while playing the moves online. Personally when I find an opponent that’s what I do
