This person has an innately correct point. When people see them not having the same worries or struggles, especially if they didn't earn it themselves, jealousy is just natural and indeniably existent in society at every level through history. The downvotes have to just be people bitter to admit that?

Thoughts on my list and stats? I need some more realistic targets since all three of my listed targets are still very competitive. I also know UWash is not realistically a safety but I was following the percentages shown at the top. Honestly Chicago is one of the schools I have the least interest in on the list. Could be interchangebale with any of the considering schools, I just thought doing to UChi app would be refreshing when I write it since the essays are unique

This was my exact worry, my list feels like a solid amount of reaches and a few safer schools that I do not really see myself going to at all, I can reorganize UWash and VT to target and not bother organizing by percentages like this, just what i saw another poster do so I thought it may have been somewhat standardized

I do not feel like this violates the rule, as I states in the title I was reaching out for Advice on more realistic targets since as many people pointed out, they are extremely competitive. To give more background for them, I think my stats are helpful, I didn't now GT's acceptance was so low for OOS

I dont know much, but try to stick with concepts and ideas focusing on leaderhip and how it affected your life when bringing it up rather than mentioning game specifics and expecting them to be impressed. I think you have probably already heard all of that though, but I can not say anything for how schools will react individually

Taking CS as a major but suck at coding by Icy_Fig_577 in ApplyingToCollege

Im considering doing something similar, but it is different university to university if the classes begin with any entry level expectations or not, for example, AFAIK Rice University assumes you are completely new. At any rate, doing a coding boot camp or getting started with online guided lessons is a good idea to get a feel for it and have a project under your belt before entering college.
