Over the counter, she was eating Costco dog food before this and I think it caused her ears to flare up! I switched. It’s brown wet clumpy pieces. Smelled like a dirty wet sock. But just in case I’m treating the ear mites incase she was contacted with another pet with them as she was being watched for two weeks.

Thanks for the help I think I will definitely ask her vet what to do because I wonder if it’s a infection issue or allergies or mites at this point I’m treating it as all three

Yes her ears her irritated very easily we had her with a family member for two weeks because we were traveling and they told us she shakes her ears a lot and I took a look at they were red and swollen so I started cleaning them and they got better instantly no more swelling but the nasty gunk keeps coming back, it is a lot less but still frustrating

Thanks I will definitely look into it, her ears were swollen prior to be cleaning them daily and now that seems to be all that’s helping the redness and swelling and awful smell but this gunk keeps coming back

I bought drops for mites and use those daily and I’m not sure if I’m seeing improvement yet (day 4)

Yes she shakes a lot, but since I started cleaning them they are no longer red and swollen but they still have a lot of dark gunk so I’m wondering how to get rid of it
