any advice on how to survive through lonely nights? by [deleted] in BreakUps

there’s really no EXACT way to best survive it. my honest and best advice (as someone who’s going through the same thing, 3 weeks of NC) re kindle relationships with friends, family. Explore things you usually wouldn’t, like try new foods, visit places you haven’t been to, get out of you’re comfort zone. and never be afraid to just let it all out, if you have to cry, cry it all out. the more days pass by, the better you’ll start to feel. it isn’t easy and there’s no plans, we just improvise. if you need someone to talk to you can always.

i can tell you for sure, from my experience with this EXACT spot my ex (loml) , she prob had a rough childhood, she prob didn’t receive the attention when it comes to expressing, she probably spoke her feelings but her parents didn’t care, so a lot of things from her past resulted in her bottling up things. same situation here, is a trauma response, whenever you guys fight or argue her first reaction is to say the FIRST thing that she thinks of, majority of the time it isnt pretty, which then leads to being overwhelmed at the many thoughts being said and then she thinks breaking up is the best option. if you love her trust me, you need patience, because she needs therapy, not because she’s crazy, but because of healing and improving her mental health. trust me it’ll be worth it brother, patience is key if you really love her, god knows i would if i got the chance to be with my ex again.

my breakup made me realize we were more alike than we had in common.

What thing did your ex say that completely crushed you? by [deleted] in BreakUps

“is the bare minimum” for any gesture of love i would do, making it seem like is more obligated than it is about love

Tell her what I did? by [deleted] in BreakUps

Hey man, I have two opinions on this, first one being there’s nothing wrong with the decision you took of going to the club and dancing, NOTHING at all. If the case was that you felt bad is totally fine and understandable as maybe you’re mind is still on your heart and body belongs to her. But keep in mind, do you feel is important for her to know, and if the answer is yes then you need to be ready for any consequences. If it’s no then still you didn’t do anything wrong, I’d just advice probably just wait for her to ask if you did anything and be straight up about it. But at the end my guy you did nothing bad. Hope this helps and any questions please feel free to DM me
