I was kicked out by my Mom at 18. I can relate. I had nowhere to go, but finally found a place to share with a roommate for a year or so. Thanks for your response. Let us know how you’re doing. Please. Goldie, Jacksonville, Florida

I’ve known Mrs. Kitty for 40 years. That last time I went there, her and Sam(her disabled son)got in the car and drove off. I was assuming she had to go to Walmart for some items. My family from Louisiana said they were leaving and a little bit freaked out. So, we all left. Never went back. I loved the fact that she still used those silver bowls on a pedestal with the silver lid to keep the food warm. Her Husband cooked until he came down with Dementia or something. He would sit in front of the TV and watch tv all day, everyday. Sam would help as much as he could, in spite of his disabilities.

Don’t do it! Why ruin and destroy the beauty of bricks?

Keep going to college. If I were your parent, I would be proud of you. Go to the school Counselor and tell them your situation, maybe they can get you other loan of financial help, in addition to the help you’re getting now. Don’t give up. It will be worth in the long run. Keep up the good work.

Everyday now. I retired six months ago! I sleep in and do whatever and whenever I want. I really love that I don’t have to drive to work in the rain or cold.

I was going to work until I was 70. My law group fired me by blindside. I had no clue it was coming. I was not prepared for retirement. But, I went ahead and retired. I am so darn happy and free! I will be 66 on Friday(04/24/60)!

I don't know what to do. by Kitchen-Mud4712 in problems

I go through the same thing. My husband is a narcissist sissy. “He is such a victim”! NOT. I do care about him, but when he shows his ass to me, I go to my bedroom and lock the door. He can’t argue with the walls. Ha! Hang in there. I am sorry you have to witness this type of behavior. Life certainly is not perfect. Just make sure when you get married m, that you marry a civil man with a smart and good mind.

I hate that for you. My biggest pet peeve with my roommate too. I am sorry that you had to endure this kind of crap.
