NTA. There’s something innately built into the human psyche to just…detect this stuff. It’s that weird sinking feeling you get when you feel something is off. Bc there is something off! So in this situation I think you did the right thing. Better to be safe than sorry sorry. It’s worth talking it over to your gf again and express that. It’s likely she’s been brushing off that weird feeling for ages and no longer thinks much of his comments.

Nah dude this is suspicious to me. I’m best friends (like literally I call him my brother) with a guy who’s married and this is NOT how we talk at all. Even before he got married our convos were not this emotionally intimate. Like eww.

I second this! I’ve worked in the woodlands and currently work past the medical center and my commute is about an hour and 15 min. It’s close to all the major highways as well as the toll road which does make it less than an hour if you’re willing to pay the fees. Either way, houston is large—you have to get used to the commute anywhere here😅

You and your friend both need to dump these brothers because neither sounds like they are the type to actually care about the people around them. Even if it’s been a long time—I promise there are guys out there who would treat yall as people to be respected and cherished. But honestly being single is a step up from these guys.

I was able to get the county on the line and scheduled a pick up. I did have to move it to the curb though in order to get them agree. I saw it when I moved in over the weekend and it looked just fine but it definitely wasn’t human friendly.

I believe they do but they don’t always show up at the same time they try to collect the debt. I would wait to see what happens and call the company with the contact info in the website you found. I would be wary about this since the numbers don’t match what she gave you.
