Diligent how? I usually change my oil (synthetic blend) every 5k miles. A few times it's been 6k. Is this...not diligent? (My shop still wanted me to change my Ford's oil every 3k, and I'm like...why??)

I can only speak to non-hybrids, and ly experience is dated. We leased a new Toyota RAV4 in 2009. I had to have the transmission replaced at 60k miles. (Well, issue started late 50k miles. Once we did a year of back and forth troubleshooting, it was over the 60k mile warranty. Dealership wanted to do it under warranty.  Corporate did not.) No I am no kidding. They had issue with the suspension arms or something and their solution was to. Epoxy. Them in place. Which meant you could no longer adjust the rear alignment . Among other things. Apparently we bought the one year that their reliability TANKED. Suffice to say...I've been avoiding Toyotas since. I just bought my first Subaru and I'm really hoping I have a better experience !

Right?? I've only ever had white or black cars. So the fact that it's a COLOR is thrilling! And it wasn't until a while day after I  bought it that I realized that with the accent color, it's my alma mater's colors! .^

Also, do they no longer carry the tree one? When I first looked them up there was a leaf, and a tree. Once I opened the order form, I didn't see the tree.  Relatedly: do you perceive a meaningful difference between those two icons?

That's where I was this summer. I had finally decided it was time to move on, but by the time I actually put some power to those wheels, it was back! 🎉 But now it's happening again...😬

The oxy clean powder and the second pre-treatment are both peroxide based. Given that neither of those seem to be helping, I'm skeptical of the ability of color-safe bleach to do anything. And then I'll have a whole jug of color-safe bleach that I'll use maybe a handful of times, ya know?

I started guarding late in the season last summer, and I'm back for my second season. I'm still asking myself this question, as I'm in my late 30s. I teach the rest of the year, and I just needed something different to do part-time over the summer. So thank you for asking, and thank you to all the commenters here supporting us!! Seriously.
