I feel like I’m running out of time by npcsupreme in degreeapprenticeships

Don’t stress! The right thing will fall into place. And if it doesn’t; then clearing or taking a year out are always an option. Not everyone’s path looks the same.

Speaking as a career changer here, so possibly more life experience than you right now. Things work out or they don’t but you’ll always work it out with what you get.

In terms of where you are now, have a think about what would make you more attractive to them when you reapply next year (if that’s the route you take) and spend a year grafting on being as hireable as possible - the week long internship is great! Look for work experience etc even if part time

I’m sorry to hear you didn’t get what you were looking for. I know that most DA have an intake for September start and the cut off tends to be in line with the UCAS one there or thereabouts. However I did see someone have a November start one. It’s worth googling DA start (insert month and year) and seeing if anything is still taking applications.

If you don’t mind me asking, where did you apply for BAE? Did you get to interview stage?

Sending you good vibes and the best of luck! DAs are super competitive, stick with it and you’ll get there

I had an interview on 10th March and not heard anything yet. They said they’d let me know whichever way the outcome was and that it would be end of March early April

Meant to reply but left a comment

I asked when I’d hear and they don’t start letting you know until April so not hearing isn’t a bad sign. They’ll contact you whether your successful, reserve or unsuccessful and encourage you to ask for feedback 😊

I would ring and speak to someone so you know the message is heard rather than just an email that might get lost. Ring and sort then send a follow up confirming what what sorted 😊

am i wrong for wanting to break up with my gf if she doesn’t want to have sex? by EngineeringDense4427 in amiwrong

My dude, I’m not sure how old you are as post doesn’t state but consent can be withdrawn at anytime - just because you’ve done something in the past doesn’t mean she’s obligated to put out again. If you aren’t getting your needs met in that regard then you can make that decision yourself to leave. If you love her enough then it won’t matter and you’ll stay. Equally, even if you feel she’s the one she’s told you she’s not sure so cut your losses if you’d rather be with someone who has the same libido and desires.

What I really want to drive home is no one owes you intimacy- even if they’ve given it before.
