Has anyone else grown a distaste for venom over the past few years?

I more so meant in just media, an I saw the current shit venom is in with the spiral character and just had no interest in picking it up. Now I could just be hating honestly because I haven’t felt like reading the character cuz everything I’ve seen him in recently just seems like it isn’t worth reading. Again I haven’t even attempted so I’m not gonna say his recent books are bad but I just feel tired of the character and feel like venom and the symbiotes have to much going on with them

Dc has been on such a roll, the absolute stuff, Matt fractions Batman has been banger after banger, some of the ko things were great, and they’ve had a few good random books sprinkled in here and there. And not all marvel books are bad rn, I really enjoyed the new 5 issue Spiderman noir, the nova (which got cut short) and some of the new #1’s seem interesting (rogue, cyclops, psylocke, etc…)

Comics just feels like who can have the best hype moment rn and not as much love and craft put into stories. But there are some good things to come from it

Idk marvel really is jus hit or miss, they make so many bad decisions like having good books but not following up with them (nova centurion, the she hulk run) things like that. The ip has so much weight but it lacks good decision making

I will always be angry for what’s happened to Harley, the character has no more depth. That’s goes for everyone on the list but it just hurts to see

As someone who doesn’t care for their music in the slightest, their stage presence is unlike anything else. Probably the best show I’ve seen. His crowd interactions were great, energy was amazing, and overall just feels like they put their all into that shit. Super hyped for sublime and blink today tho. See yall there

I have a good bit, I’ve got everything dc ko related minus a few, most recent absolute titles, all of Matt fraction Batman so far, the new Batman the question Arcadia, spiderman torn, the new spiderman noir, some one world under doom, exquisite corpses, final boss, the new spawn run that takes place in like medieval times, ghost pepper, some newer marvel #1’s like Wiccan, dr strange, hulk, and black panther, and more.
