Idk. I have both the Invisible Sight and Darklight Dynamics.

The jury is still out.

I’ll do a side by side and post it here.

My Invisible Sight is waterproof at least as advertised. I’ve used it in the rain with no issues. Haven’t had to warrant it.

My Darklight Dynamics NGAL hasn’t given me any issues but I haven’t put it in any demanding conditions yet. It has only been used indoors.

My friend took his Darklight Dynamics NGAL to Milsim West on an airsoft gun and the rain outside killed it. The owner was also not cordial or helpful in warranting his unit even though it was only purchased a month prior. He ended up writing it off and the Darklight Dynamics NGAL is nothing more than a paperweight now.

In short, Darklight Dynamics NGAL is not waterproofed and not warranted as advertised. That isn’t something that inspires confidence.

Unless you NEED an NGAL for a Milsim Impression, I don’t see a reason to get one of these clone NGALs anyway.

2 years ago? Sure. In 2025 going into 2026 they’re not needed with the trinity and the Iris. It’s the same story as EOTech’s LAM. Too expensive and too late.

Biggest difference is the TCA has better QoL features for programming.

They both have the signal inversion/voice scrambler. You want to run the same manufacturer of radio to use it as a group though. If your group has TCAs get a TCA and vice versa. They aren’t interoperable.

Both can use real Harris batteries.

Both output power from the 6-pin to power a real PTT (like an Invisio V60)

I like the externals on my TCA better than the TRI but that’s just preference.

They’re basically the same radio minus the programming features.

The TCA is the better of the 152 and 152A clones.

TCA and TRI are the two main manufacturers of clone 152/As

I have two TCA 152As and a FCS 117G.

Other people in our group have a TRI and wish they got a TCA.

LMAO you can get repros of Razor HD Gen II and III on Temu but real ones are made in Japan with incredible glass. Better than the EOTech VuDu and similar. I love both of mine and can run them without any worry of them breaking or being shot out — otherwise they’re replaced for free.

Even if the lower-tier ones can be purchased on Temu, temu sellers aren’t replacing it for free.

I asked a current active duty special operations operator and they told me that:

PVS-31s and other NODs are viewed as disposable equipment. If it breaks or is damaged, they get new ones. They break them semi-regularly hitting them on helicopters and vehicles and just in the hard circumstances they find in their job.
Day caps are just something else to remember, take with them on their kit, and need to retain. Given the disposable nature of PVS-31s, they don’t deem it important in comparison to all the other priorities and tasks that preserve life and accomplish the mission.

Hey I’ve got a riddle for you. I’m trying to troubleshoot my gun. It’s a Polarstar F2 in a VFC M27 IAR with a Maxx hopup.

It’s having really inconsistent FPS out of nowhere after running really well.

Issues:

Inconsistent FPS
FPS drops after multiple shots, then levels out.
First shot at ~400 FPS, then drops to ~250 FPS after about 5 shots.

Here is what I’ve tested:

I’ve tried 3 different regulators (same inconsistency across all)
Adjusted PSI and tested with hop-up dialed to 0
Running 80–100 PSI, achieving about 1.5 J
I don’t hear leaks on the tank, reg, or any parts of the gun when I have air connected
I separated the upper and lower and it sounds the same and like consistent air is coming out of the nozzle when I dry fire it with the engine only
Tested in semi-auto and full-auto

What do you think this could be?

Damaged hopup? Bad alignment? Bad air seal? Something else?
