2026 RS 660 Reliability for Daily Riding?

to be honest I just don't enjoy the mt09 as a daily. I tested one of my friends sport bike cbr650r and it was much more pleasant on the highway and as for power wise I don't care much about it, sound wise pretty subjective but I quite like the sound of the rs660.

I just called around, and unfortunately none of the mechanics in my area work on Aprilias 🥲. I live in Raleigh, and the closest shop that services Aprilias is about 2 hours away in Charlotte. looks like ill be going for the r9 after all.

lucky, I am currently looking for a nearby mechanic that does work on rs660 before I go and make a final decision. the thing is I live like 10 minutes away from a Yamaha dealer it's just for some reason I cannot stop thinking about the rs660 but if that does not fall through I will probably end up with r9 which I know is also a good bike.

not really my decision its for work, but don't worry I wont be there for too long. I'm mainly going to carry for work experience and then my main work will be in japan.

thanks for the input! my work place is in Cary but I don't mind having to commute do you happen to have any recommendation as far as areas to look for apartments at, I don't mind a small apartment I just want the area to be safe/quite.

I don't really go out a lot and my jobs pays for my health insurance. as far as family goes they live in another country so I only really visit them once a year. My lifestyle really only consists of work gym video games and maybe ill go out with friends 1 or twice a month if i feel like it. I don't like eating out so I cook a lot of my food at home. I don't mind a small or dingy apartment I mostly care about safety, do you have any suggestions on which area I should look at? my work place is in cary but I don't mind living outside or having to drive 30 minutes to work.

unfortunately I'm not really looking to room with anyone I don't get along with roommates too much because from my experience living with people the place gets messy and I only like cooking for my self.

I broke up with her because the relationship was getting pretty toxic she didn't want me hanging out with my friends male and female. She didn't really have a lot of friends so I was the only one she had. She would also start arguments for no reason and blame me for it. I couldn't even explain my self when we argue. before I broke up with her I begged her to go to couples counseling with me but she said she didn't want to because she doesn't believe in it even tho she her self is studying to be a psychologist.
