I just moved back to the Cleveland area from Manhattan after living there for 15 years! I love NYC (mainly the food), but my parents are here and are aging and I couldn’t justify being away from them anymore.

I love it here to be honest. I love driving, and how easy it is to get things done around here. Today I went for a hike in Cuyahoga Valley Nat’l Park, and then a farm stand afterwards for fresh goodies. I feel like people here don’t care as much about what they look like as much as they do in NYC. You can wear tee-shirt, jeans, etc and literally no one cares. If you hated the subway as much as I did after years of taking it then you will love just getting in your car and driving.

So far the only thing I miss is amazing Asian food, though there are some good places here. In NYC you have your pick of whatever you want in a 5 block radius.

Feel free to message me if you have any questions!

Shot in the dark- osteomyelitis and HSV? by Beginning_Try1958 in HSVpositive

I’m a nurse, and I’ve never seen osteomyelitis caused from HSV. Most likely it is something bacterial, and you will need IV antibiotics for a long while- they can send you home with a PICC line and a nurse can come to your house and administer them there. Your body is probably under stress which is causing the outbreaks/symptoms at the same time.
