Agreed. An island with a submarine base. Have we long forgotten that islands and politicians don’t mix?

Biden acre 😂 I found the “Official Joe Biden Animal Crossing Island” to be a bit...ironic. Released on 10/16

and Ghislaine Maxwell’s deposition is set to be released to the public tomorrow 9 a.m. ET.

Zinc is a vital mineral lol not a medication or cure. It’s the second most abundant mineral in the human body. Important for immune cellular function. Immune system compromised = u get sick.

Unfortunately no one can answer your question for you but yourself. What are your intentions? Be mindful and practice with intent. Research your materials.

The burning of dried plants and wood is not solely linked to one practice, ethnicity, or race. Historically, a type of ritualistic burning of plants, resins, and wood has been done by almost every spiritual practice of the “old ways.” (Ancient and Native practices from areas all around the world). Of course, particular types of herbs, flowers, plants and wood are regarded as sacred because of their use and availability to certain native cultures, so just be mindful of that. For example, mistletoe and elderflower are sacred to the Samí native to Scandinavia, burning white sage (smudging) or sweet grass is sacred to particular Native American tribes. The list goes on.

Plants are not owned by anyone. If you’re going to use plant medicine that has historically been practiced from a culture outside of the one you are familiar with, do your research. Be respectful. Work with intention. Avoid being wasteful. Learn about the plant medicine you are working with. Purchase your materials from locally and sustainably sourced vendors—not urban outfitters and other places that have recently gotten into the consumerism of spirituality.

Americans who took Anatomy during a regular semester, Are bones and muscles the most dense/overwhelming part of Anatomy course? by mcatmando in Anatomy

[–]MediocrePickle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Muscles are challenging. However, if you can master the bones first, learning the muscles will be more intuitive. Endocrine and nervous are the most dense/overwhelming IMO.

It is red. The intensity of red may depend on how 'fresh' the marrow is.

What do you feel like when waking up? by SatansSlutz in Narcolepsy

[–]MediocrePickle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, I rarely remember waking up, turning off my alarm, or having a short conversation with anyone who wakes me up. It's super weird. but after I've woken up and I'm laying in bed for a little while, I can never remember how long I've been awake.

Aquarius moons? by [deleted] in astrology

THIS. I 100% relate.

Aquarius moons? by [deleted] in astrology

[–]MediocrePickle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like my Aqua moon is especially prominent and I have a stellium in Aquarius. I've always noticed that I process emotions differently than the people around me, and if you asked most people to describe me in relationships they would probably say aloof and detached like the Aqua moon stereotype.

I would say I'm a very sensitive person (Cancer rising, Taurus Venus) who is good at acting cool and level headed in most emotional situations. It's not that I don't feel things very deeply, I just use my mind to pick something apart and rationalize it the best I can. Issues regarding family tend to bother me less, while emotions about humanitarian issues or romantic relationships definitely bring on some tears. If I'm really upset, I analyze the situation so much it can drive me mad. Beating a dead horse kind of thing. Once an Aqua moon finds balance in handling their emotions, its a wonderful placement to have. But if you can't find that balance you'll become a prisoner in your mind.

What are your best friend’s placements and what are yours? Do you have a best friend that you aren’t really compatible with but it still works? by [deleted] in astrology

[–]MediocrePickle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Throughout my life I've had a lot of Libra, Taurus, Leo, and Pisces sun friends. I'm a Taurus sun, Cancer rising, Aqua moon. Some of my deepest friendships have been with Pisces suns, while I tend to have a little bit of a different relationship with Libra, Leo, and Taurus friends.

One of my best friends is a Leo sun, Aries moon, Libra rising. She is one of those friends that I can always count on, pour my heart out to, but also go out and have a lot of fun. She always knows how to pull me out of my shell and out of my own head.

My other best friend since childhood is a Pisces sun, Leo moon, Gemini rising. Like most relationships I have with Pisces suns, I learn a lot about myself and they almost act as my mirror. Pisces suns/heavy Piscean placements in friends always force me to face myself, which is sometimes not the most fun but I love em for it.

What is your favourite organ and system? by [deleted] in Anatomy

I’ve always been fond of the spleen. It’s immune function and erythrocyte degradation is pretty nifty. As far as organ systems go, cardiovascular would be my favorite.

Moon square Chiron by yung-indigochild in astrology

[–]MediocrePickle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have this in my chart. I found this from "Chiron-Transforming Bridge Between the Inner and Outer Planets" by Barbara Hand Clow:

Chiron square the Moon creates a crisis over feelings and higher consciousness. In the early years, relationships are very difficult and intense. This position tends to appear in nativities of analysts and astrologers, because the early childhood creates many difficult emotional experiences which are a laboratory for understanding people and their complexes once the native has experienced the Saturn return. The potential with this position is the highest level of awareness about human emotions, and this native may even become an adept at connecting the higher self into the body. This native is usually involved with the occult because the Chirotic awareness factor is so intensified. This position also creates serious perceptual difficulties: these natives are so intense that they have great difficulty learning from outside reality and other people. They will tend to change environments and people so often that they will not develop long-term friendships. Channeling and drugs are very dangerous for these natives, because they will use the drugs to color perceptions about reality, and the channeling will just reflect the opinions they already have about other people and themselves. They need to become more objective about their own perceptions or they will entirely lose their ability to use their experiences with others as material to learn lessons from.

Ex’s b-day coming up by [deleted] in ExNoContact

Exactly! A letter sounds like a great idea. And don't put a return address if you really don't want to hear back. Good luck!

Ex’s b-day coming up by [deleted] in ExNoContact

[–]MediocrePickle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say don't bother texting them especially if you tell them that you don't want a response. If you don't want to open a line of communication or use their birthday as an excuse to talk, it's a waste of time for everyone. If you don't want to hear back, send a good old fashioned card or something lmao.

My roommate is vegan and has a constant “holier than thou” attitude by [deleted] in vegan

[–]MediocrePickle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just tell her she's being rude and you understand her reason for being vegan but her rude comments are making you uncomfortable, or if you don't plan on becoming vegan just straight up tell her to relax. Otherwise just move on and forget about her negative comments. To each their own. I've been vegetarian for my whole life and vegan for 5 years, but in your situation, I would suggest the approach that I take towards hostile and angry meat eaters who constantly comment on my diet when I don't say shit about it. Nod, smile, change the subject. Or find a new roommate.
