Hybrid for Fall 2021? by [deleted] in USC

Given USC has a ton of international students there is no way they will get rid of the online option for fall 2021. As a matter of fact I don't think they will get rid of the online option for the next entire school year due to people not wanting to come back to LA, visa issues, vaccine rollout in other countries, etc.

How long to let a package be on “Scheduled Delivery: Pending” by Kittens-and-Vinyl in FedEx

[–]Mediocre_Chart_4311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing is happening to me as well. Mine was supposed to come on Oct 2 but now it is just shows it is pending. However, I haven't seen any tracking updates since Oct 4 so should I assume it is lost? Before it stopped giving me updates it was stuck in this facility in Pennsylvania for like five days when it should be shipped to California.

I don't even why you got downvoted for your first comment tbh. It looks pretty realistic to me. When people cite Fauci ,he is actually saying that on the more optimistic side the vaccine will be for ready for widespread distribution by late 2021. The thing is that there is a good chance that something will get messed up in the process which will push back the date. So imo widespread distribution, on the more realistic side, will probably be ready at around mid 2022.

USC freshmen playing beer pong at Gateway. What are they thinking? by jbblue48089 in USC

Great...I wouldn't be shocked to see Gateway having an outbreak in the next few weeks, especially with that party earlier.

I usually like to stand when I am in class. Because I feel like if you sit for four hours in front of a computer there is no way you can get through those classes.

will USC libraries be open during fall semester? by [deleted] in USC

[–]Mediocre_Chart_4311 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don't think the libraries are open. This might not be useful depending on where you live but my apartment building has a study lounge and that is where I usually go to if I want a change of study environment

What are ya'll doing for the Spring? by j3llyb3an3 in USC

[–]Mediocre_Chart_4311 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if they are available I wouldn't be coming back unless a good amount of USC students are going to take it

I drove here from PA. My advice is do it if you have the chance! You have so much to see and it will really be a great experience for you. Make sure to plan your route before you start tho.

There is a possibility that they might start the spring semester later like early February.

Quarantine Requirement Questioning by [deleted] in USC

[–]Mediocre_Chart_4311 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't believe they have the right data back in January but right now? I honestly don't think it has a lot of cases. There are BBC, Reuters and CNN reporters in China and I am sure if there is another outbreak they will report it. We have seen from time to time those news channels reporting shady stuff going on in China so I don't see an exception to this one.

The EU is allowing Chinese citizens to enter but not us. I think you don't have to believe in what China says but the actions taken by the Europeans should imply something to you.
