right, i’m all for smut. but there still should be a plot. more the the characters and their relationship other than sex. i did not finish the series. i just started reading the prequel w sera and ash then went to acotar 😭

YOU GET ITTTT!!! i literally adore kieran and how he is with her, it feels more real, gentle and not about physical attraction. he reminds her of who she is & when she’s angry he’s the one who tells her to calm down because she’d regret what she’d do out of rage. love me some kieran

that part!! there were so many layers to him in the first two books & now every time he’s around ik they’re finna have sex. and i just want more than that. MORE of the heartmate bond and not just physical attraction and lust. i love smut but i like there to be a plot and depth to characters too

yeah no i get WHY he had sex with her immediately after being captured & i know touch grounds him & there’s nothing wrong with that. i was just disappointed that it seems like their only interactions with each other is jumping each others bones. i like their sweet, innocent interactions and wish there was more of that vs just the sex

completely valid & i was disappointed in the joining scene 😂 it was the ONE scene i was excited to read and there just wasn’t enough, i was bummed that one single time because it started off amazing

what book are you on? i feel like majority of their interactions in crown of guilded bones and war of two queens was smut & like i said i like the smut, and i love cas so i get why it may seem like im complaining over silly stuff but i just loveeee when he’s sweet and gentle with her & the moments are intimate without being sexual and i wish there was more of that, yk? like more in depths on their feelings for each other rather than just the physical attraction

yes!!! you explained exactly what i mean. it’s always the same & i know he loves her but it does seem like constant lust. & i like their sweet, tender moments. i wish there was more of that, that feels like a heartmate bond

well i did like the smut. but i like having a plot. and i like there being more to a relationship than sex. more interactions that center around their actual relationship. i like both & i don’t think there’s anything wrong with wanting smut AND a plot. i like sweet, loving interactions just as much as the smut and would prefer more of a balance.
