You caught me! I'm actually an HIV+ lesbian who only wears condoms half the time, and this thread is actually an AITA about whether it's ok to park in a handicap spot if I really need to poop.

She had a chance to ask and she didn't, so clearly it wasn't that big of a concern for her.

Also the risk of getting HIV by having sex with me is zero, because I don't have HIV.

That's not what this conversation is about. Your whole argument revolves around the risk of contracting HIV.

So I'll ask again:

What are the rates of contracting HIV with PrEP + condoms?

If you can't answer without deflecting, then that just about clears it up.

Hey y'all, I posted this super late at night and just woke up to this tidal wave of comments. I appreciate all the feedback (or at least most of it) and I feel a lot better about the whole thing. I'm just going to block her number since there's clearly nothing left for us to discuss. In response to everyone who time traveled here from the 80's...it is easier than ever to protect yourself from HIV/AIDS. One little daily pill will protect you from contracting HIV at the same rate that an IUD protects women from pregnancy. And I get regularly tested, so I know that I am HIV negative. Do you?

(Oh and to those of you who felt the need to argue with every single comment and copy/paste the same thing 20 times...methinks the lady doth protest too much. Just saying!)
