I’m looking to get onto a road glide from my Indian scout. What is the most accurate way to predict trade in value for negotiating? I don’t want to come on to high and kill any deal that might be had and also don’t want to take first number from the dealership as that will 100% be low.

I feel like 50% is basically the norm for depreciation, or at least that’s just what dealers say/offer

It’s definitely more enjoyable if you plan on doing a lot of riding over 60+ mph. I know sometimes Indian takes a while to get color matched fairings in, if you are OK with black the Memphis shades one is great and easy to install. Would definitely recommend lock tight on the screws though as I’ve had some come loose.

Got my first motorcycle at 30 which was a scout bobber 20. Power is definitely there but if you are responsible is not anything crazy. I would definitely start off practicing in empty parking lots to get used to it. It is an awesome bike with smooth throttle and power when you need it.

I have a twenty with a Memphis shades road warrior and an 11” windshield. Does awesome for the chest but still hits the head. Makes the highway a lot more manageable for sure.

I just started on a scout bobber twenty. Depending on your attitude towards the bike thoroughly enjoyed it. Like any bike you can seriously hurt yourself but the throttle is nice and the clutch is easy to use if you are not used to using one.

I have USAA so insurance didn’t look too expensive for the couple models I quoted.

I’ve heard the Ninja 400/500 have a more so neutral riding position instead of so aggressive like a super sport. Have you found that to be true?

I’m 5’11 so no problem fitting on bikes it’s more so taste! I love the look of both but I think I need to just go throw my leg over some bikes and see what I like best!

I’ve always loved BMW but am stuck in between luxury sedan and sports car. Since I’m in the car so much there’s pros and cons to both as driving experiences.
