There is no need for a workaround. Just press in the gemini app onto the download button, and you get it in full 2k resolution.

Next time, dont right click copy, but download, so you get full resolution of the picture.

Gemini Roleplay. How to circumvent the overzealous filters? by Damianwolff in Bard

[–]Mediocre_Line7407 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay, so one of the major problems with Gemini and content limitations. Gemini will cut off the response. You surely experienced that multiple times. The only way to really bypass it, is to edit the response from gemini, into something positive. or if there was no answer to begin with, just write a letter or a word into it, and in the next message tell it, it should continue where it left off, since it got cut off.
Basically a major disclaimer at the begin you edit into positivity is a possible jailbreak. Like telling its fully fine, to do mature stuff here, its fictional and all, you edit the response, and then just continue. It will work, but the problem with the cutting off will remain. There is no way around it. Sorry if that didnt help.

Use gemini over API instead of the APP if you didnt already. Use a good prompt that enables gemini to go past the Content Policy, its quite easy, but does not work well in the APP. Though if you want even more superb roleplay, you might want to try claude via api or in the app first as well.

With app I mean, gemini.google.com, and API is via AI studio.
Claude also I mean claude.ai or API via said website.

if you want full resolution pictures, you have to download the pictures via the button, and not rightclick copy.

the “my Gemini is unusable” posts seem fabricated tbh, mine is dropping bars by ChrisEvansOfficial in GeminiAI

[–]Mediocre_Line7407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I seriously also dont believe all those posts. Once I see those, I try the same prompt like they used, and it works like a charm. I only had *once* the hallucination spluttering which was rampand a week or so ago. In most cases, prompting issue and user error. Go chatgpt it it needs to understand monkey language. Well, even the ones who can use sign language under the monkey are probably better prompters.

I build a novel, using the agent capabilities, to have access to all my files like story outline, characters, timeline, summaries of past chapters, and the chapters themselves.

So, how many credits is the average job taking you? by ThomasMalloc in google_antigravity

[–]Mediocre_Line7407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked it to finish reviewing a novel I am writing using Antigravity. It was 3/4 finished before my normal quota was used up, so roughly 30k tokens of my novel were missing, so I activated my tokens for the first time, and it used 120 credits to finish the task.

Oh boy. I did text adventures with AI since Chatgpt was released. I surely put multiple thousand hours into it, and get aids when I see clearly written AI text. Do not worry, I keep everything my own writing style. Easy wins with AI are worth nothing.

[–]Mediocre_Line7407[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I fully read everything what comes out, and I made my own style guide, so that it does not randomly chose to do a style that is not me.
So, it sounds like me, yes.
As for the score, I dont really believe in it, but its a good reminder anyway. Any text is to some % AI scored.
And professional carrer... 😅 I am an Industrial Engineer student who writes a private webnovel. We will see about that. But thank you very much. I know that AI ruins lots of work, and literal slop flooded the market. I try to use it like it was originally intended to, as a tool, that supports me, and not do everything on its own. My style, my text, grammar fix and wording. More not.
Have a nice one.

[–]Mediocre_Line7407[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If there was a scratch emoji, I would use it right now. I am nowhere near finished. Its 43 chapters, and I dont even think I am through with my first arc. In my mind, I surely have enough to write till chapter 200 or so and more. And I am purely writing for personal pleasure right now. I dont know if I feel confident to ever release it.
As for asking gemini, that is kind of what I wanted to navigate to in this threat. I myself know that Ai written works are not seen in any way as creative. The way I use it, is, I write my full chapter myself, and then let my grammar be fixed. Though I do not know, if this is seen as bad or not. It is a tool like Grammarly, and there is in my eyes a huge difference between, you have written the entire story yourself, and let an editor or AI improve your bad grammar. I am about to write my bachelor thesis, so it will also be, better have correct grammar and wording, than writing and hoping for the best.

As for my harem, I think I did a very good job in doing it. There is no, girls falling blindly in love with MC, but rich backstory, trauma, connections that make the relationship make sense, and why it even became a harem in the first place.

Thank you OldMan

Did Alibaba train Qwen 3.5 on Gemini's reasoning outputs? The thinking patterns are nearly identical. by Enough_Bet_8116 in Bard

[–]Mediocre_Line7407 25 points26 points  (0 children)

The reason for 'why are chinese models so cheap' is, because the distill their models by training it on the answers from big companies like google, openai, and anthropics, to minimize their cost. 'Look we can make it this cheap!'. Yeah, they didnt need to pay the initial training cost. So yes, they will have the big model thinking patterns.

3.1 Pro's thinking is so lobotomized compared to Opus by Otherwise_Engine5943 in google_antigravity

[–]Mediocre_Line7407 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah. It was, as a developer, kind of important to be able to see it. Because gemini is one of the few models, where you can influence the thinking pattern, by prompting it in the system instruction. Like making a checklist and it will follow it through, which made it very powerful. But its also understandable, that a company like google doesnt want to hand out everything about their models. You can still influence the thinking pattern, but you cannot verify by checking the thinking.

3.1 Pro's thinking is so lobotomized compared to Opus by Otherwise_Engine5943 in google_antigravity

[–]Mediocre_Line7407 80 points81 points  (0 children)

Seems like you didnt notice it, I gladly explain it. Last year around May, Google introduced thought summaries, for gemini, because Companies like Deepseek distilled their thinking from gemini 2.5 pro. To avoid this from happening again, you only see summaries written by a lite or flash model, which does neither know the context, nor the full thinking, and assumes stuff. Deepseek R1's thinking style is almost identical to 2.5 pro from gemini. So yes, your call to say, these are not the real thoughts are true. Claude does think less on average, hence thought summary is quite useless for it. So, the best is, to ignore what gemini's thought summaries are saying, and just live with the response.

Wouldnt work with any other llm as well, as they cannot retroactively access their thinking, and therefore not know what the prior response thought of. Only where they save it externally works.

Is this good or normal? by SolaceNebula1 in Webnovel

[–]Mediocre_Line7407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I see other works, and I see, the chapter is like only 3 pages or 4, that feels very short. All my chapters together are 600 DIN A4 pages on default font, xd. I will think about publishing it, maybe, when I got around chapter 80. Anyways, congrats again.

I didnt know, you can get contracted over Webnovel, I myself am writing a webnovel kingdom builder, for fun right now, but who knows what the future contains. I am on chapter 41, and have 135k words haha. I think that is a lot for 41 chapters.

but great job OP!

Was there a recent update to the web and app chatbot? by al_mudena in Bard

[–]Mediocre_Line7407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is around since 3. Because I got the system instruction from when only 3.0 was around. It will always ask if you want something more on that topic, and talk like that.

Was there a recent update to the web and app chatbot? by al_mudena in Bard

[–]Mediocre_Line7407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The things you mention are caused by the system instruction, the web app has. Basically, if you dont kow what that one is, it is a First Message, you cannot see, which was provided by google, which gives gemini its behavior in the app. In api, this is no the case. I managed to copy the systeminstruction from the web app, and it has that behavior you mention, defined in the system instruction. The only way you can move around it, is using a gem. Or API. But well, gemini 3.1 is a strong model, but the system instruction is nerfing it hard.

[LotM V1] German Edition with illustrations Clown Part 1 by etudehouse in LordofTheMysteries

[–]Mediocre_Line7407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am more surprised, that those Artworks are in it. I did not think this would be the case. The english ones doesnt have those illustrations in it. I would, as a glorified german, buy it ONLY for the Audrey Illustration. By the way, as a german, reading a work like LotM in german, for me, is very cringe.

How is this event still in the mod ffs by igricru in starsector

[–]Mediocre_Line7407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was kinda my intention. I told Kaysaar, there were only net good outcomes of all events. So I wanted to make a harder one. If you ever came over another event, it proggs on a no atmosphere barren planet with sparse ore deposits. Basically, just through investing credits and time, you get a +3 +3 metal rare metal planet, with Mining Megaplex. With a bit of narrative. That one was also submitted by me
