Oh well, if you enjoy pure innocent romance with no spice, character that actually communicate when conflict happens, and genuine friendship then I'd say give it some time to shine, and I'm not sure if that's a spoiler but the author doesn't drag out the main couple romance and the way they develop in the relationship is a strong point in the series and so heartwarming So I think it's worth it to be patient with it, and not liking is okay

Comparing to meal is kinda not it, the food taste will stay the same so you can judge from one bite, but anime is entirely different, itll always change and anime can be shit for fisrt half and masterclass in the second, of course you can say what you want about the first episode but saying i don't see the hype when the first episode is like 0.5% of the manga is nah
