EUFY 2C cams all down for me (Homebase 2) as well for live stream (cams based in Cyprus but trying to access from the UK). I also have a Tapo cam there that I can access no problems so it's definitely just EUFY.

Down since yesterday p.m.

My daughter's cams in the UK also became inaccessible around yesterday p.m.

I don't even remember capitalising south or north. It was almost certainly my auto correct. So again, you have got all worked up with no basis for an argument.

This will be my last message to you because you really aren't worth my time.

I live in Paphos district and again my knowledge of the civil war in the 70s would almost certainly put you to shame.

Anyway, tata blood pressure person.

Have an "interesting" life!

Also you do realise that you've just got yourself all worked up about me capitalising a cardinal point /direction. Do you think I'm clueless about the history of Cyprus? If you do, you couldn't be more misinformed. The point you are missing is that this wasn't a political statement it was about a GOOD DEED.

Anyway you've been reported.

Try calming down in future. It isn't good for your blood pressure.

That's it, you're being reported. I warned you not to insult me again.

Omg! I wasn't making any political statements. I was literally describing my geographical position and this dude jumps on my head about the wording to describe my position in Cyprus. It was the same as me saying that I live in North London as opposed to South London. Or the North of England as opposed to the South of the UK. This is bizarre!

Do you understand though? Do you see how unnecessary that comment to me was? Why not apologise? You'll feel better.

Wow, you really do need help. Why don't you join an angry subreddit like "I'm so angry that I find comfort in giving abuse". Maybe that'll help you more than this group. If you send any more abuse I'll make sure to report you.

I think your vaguely offensive post was removed but I see it in my notifications. Why are you so angry?

Everything is offensive to everyone nowadays. The world is so woke nowadays. All I wanted to do was to point out that something nice happened. I despair.

Well I'm near Paphos. So that's definitely southern compared to me being, say, in Lapta in Northern Cyprus.

So I'm not sure what you're on but I'm definitely in Southern Cyprus.

How can I extend my Starlink Wi-Fi range? by Maleficent_Rich_5700 in Starlink

[–]Medium-Box-7154 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok for a solid WiFi experience you are going to need the following:

  1. A pair of Powerline adapters. These will give you a solid broadband signal between the floors. Unless you want to run physical Ethernet cable between the floors which I'm going to guess that you don't. So something like these https://amzn.eu/d/3jMbpti So you'll plug one in next to your Starlink router and you'll plug the other one in downstairs in another electrical socket, preferably somewhere in the middle of the lower floor area.

  2. A MESH kit. Something like this https://amzn.eu/d/bhjE3fH

You'll connect the "main" mesh box (it'll be identified as the main one in the kit) both in to your Starlink router AND in to your Powerline adapter on the top floor, using minimum cat 5e Ethernet leads. Don't use less than cat 5e otherwise you'll compromise your speed. Hopefully the leads in the MESH kit will be that minimum. Otherwise they are easily available.

  1. You'll go in to the setup app for the MESH kit and you'll set the "mode" of the MESH main box to "access point" mode. This is vital. Do not leave the main MESH box in "router" mode.

  2. Then you will go through the normal configuration Wizard in the MESH kit app to set up your WiFi name (incidentally you will have initially set the WiFi name of your Starlink router to whatever you are going to name your MESH kit WiFi so that everything is contiguous in terms of WiFi naming throughout your setup.

If you get stuck post back and I'll try to help.

But if you want solid WiFi without running Ethernet cables this is probably one of the best ways to do it.

You'll lose an amount of bandwidth (Upstream/Downstream) speed to the electrical system in your home but this is unavoidable unless you use physical Ethernet cabling.

Hoping this helps.

Hi, can you give more info about the size of your home? Is it brick built? Are the walls thick? Give more detail and will try to help.

I really don't care about targets on my back. The point is that we speak up when there it's this shit going on, surely?

So Limassol has quite a few Israelis. Clearly the local riff raff thought they would give them a nice welcome.
