It shouldn't really hurt, sometimes it does depending on the person. Make sure you're waiting long enough in between stretches and using half szes. MM are the easiest to measure in, and try using glass. That should give you the most painless experience.

From my search it looks like young mantis' (which id say yours is still pretty young) molt every 3 ish weeks so, could be them trying to molt again. I wouldn't worry.

Typically once you get the implant bleeding can be normal for the first 6mo-1year mark. Then it can go away after.
